About the Event
The Mama Vikings Fundraiser Game is one of the most unique and meaningful traditions in Winthrop Youth Hockey.
Each year, a group of dedicated moms—completely independent from the program—lace up their skates, pick up a stick, and take the ice for a great cause. Over the course of several weeks, these women commit to 10–15 practices, learning the game, building teamwork, and preparing for their big night under the lights.
What starts as a fun challenge quickly turns into something much bigger—a powerful display of community, commitment, and support for our players.
Their mission is simple:
Raise funds to support and strengthen Winthrop Youth Hockey.
